Trustworthy or Untrustworthy??
Richard “Bobo” Evans is not trustworthy. In the book Monster by Walter Dean Myers, Bobo is testifying against his supposed fellow robber and look out. During his testimony Bobo says Steve, the supposed look out, was suppose to give them the all clear signal, “He was supposed to tell us if there was anybody in the drugstore. He didn’t say nothing so we figured it was all right” (182). Early in the trial Bobo said “I was arrested for breaking and entering, grand theft auto and one time for taking a car radio, and one time for fighting a guy that died” (176). Bobo is known for being a criminal and by testifying he gets a plea bargain so he can get out of jail quicker, therefore he could be lying the whole time. Bobo Evans is a criminal and therefore cannot be trusted.
Studying Abroad
The thought of studying abroad is very exciting. I would immediately start planning the sights to see. However traveling to other countries presents challenges. The most obvious would be not speaking the native language. This lack of understanding can make most everything difficult including getting directions, ordering food off a menu, or even finding a bathroom! Most people do not travel abroad without planning. Common sense tells me that planning for the language challenge is very important. When going to a country you've never been to before, you need to plan ahead. Otherwise you are asking for trouble.

On A Super Worms Food Choice
The effect of the amount of moisture on a super worm’s food choice was studied over a period of thirty minutes. This was done in order to see if the super worms would eat more of a food source if it had more moisture in it then the other food sources. Data was collected from carrots, lettuce and apples. The results show that the amount of moisture does affect the super worm’s food choice.
INTRODUCTION

Although by the end of the experiment the super worms seemed to be very full. Another that was observed was that most of the time the super worms were moving around and trying to get out rather than eating. In the end however lettuce came out on top (See Graph 1).

En la historia de Ana Pobre, el personaje principal, Ana cree que tiene un montón de problemas. Los problemas que Ana cree que es terrible es que no tiene ropa nueva, no tiene un coche, y ella tiene muy poco dinero. Luego, cuando Ana viaja a México a vivir con la familia Sánchez, se da cuenta que ella tiene una vida bastante buena. En el Ana Estados Unidos no tiene que compartir la habitación con su hermana y su hermano no tiene que dormir en el sofá o en el suelo. "We the people, By the people, For the people," is part of the opening statement of the US constitution. Thomas Jefferson helped to write that document, but where did he get all those ideas? Where did the founding fathers come up with the idea of a perfect union. By listening to the words of philosophers, who in their time were ignored.
One of the most influential social contract philosophers, Jean Jacques Rousseau
wrote of popular sovereignty or the sovereignty of the people. This idea gave the government its power through the will of the people, and it is the people who retain control of that power. Thomas Jefferson is also known to have taken ideas from John Locke, and put them into the Declaration of Independence. Both philosophers believed that the people are the base of the triangle of governmental power. Rousseau also said that all men should have the right to take up arms against the government, if it did not respect their rights.
Without the social contract philosophers, our founding fathers view of what a perfect union should be would have been very different then what they created. The social contract showed them another way to govern themselves without being ruled by a king. Rousseau argued that the goal of government should be to secure freedom, equality, and justice for all within the state, regardless of the will of the majority. From this idea we were given the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

Monster
Mrs. Lorelle Henry’s testimony does help Steve’s case. In the book Monster by Walter Dean Myers, Mrs. Henry’s was in the drugstore while it was being robbed, and supposedly saw the faces of the two men robbing it. During her testimony Mrs. Henry said that she saw James King in the drugstore as one of the robbers. “The gentleman sitting at that table was one of the men arguing. (She points to KING).” Mrs. Henry did not say that she saw Steve in the drugstore or that she recognized him to be the other man who was helping KING. In my opinion Mrs. Henry is the main witness, and since she did not see Steve in the drugstore then she has helped his case.
Damned Characteristics
There are many characteristics that make up who you are and your personality. Most people have the normal characteristics, like being a fast runner or being good at something. Some have unusual special characteristics, like learn things really quickly or speaking another language easily. Although not all of the characteristics that you get or grow into are good for you. Everyone gets at least one of these, and most people try to hide them but some don’t succeed. These are characteristics that are damned.
Insecurity is one of those, because it makes you unsure of yourself and the decision you make. In the book Monster, by Walter Dean Myers, Steve the main character is insecure of himself. In the book Steve describes seeing a face in the mirror he doesn’t recognize. The face doesn’t look like him and he doesn’t believe he could change that much in only a few months. Steve’s insecurity is becoming more unstable because so many changes are happening all around him. People are talking about like he’s not even there and some of the things he hears from those people make him question if he question himself even more. Is he truly is a monster?
Insecurity is a damned characteristic because it can either make you hurt others in order to feel go about yourself or it makes you look and/or feel weak. In Steve’s case it makes him both feel and look weak. He says that he wants to be a good person yet he doesn’t feel like one. His insecurity is feeding off the things that other people are telling him. He’s becoming unbalanced and is starting to lose the battle. His insecurity may lead him to make decision that might be lead to his downfall.

Advice for the Class of 2016
Ok, just like how they say 7th grade is hard, and it's not. It's just like 8th grade. 8th grade its not hard, the teachers are hard, but the grade itself isn't.
So here are some tips to survive the teachers. (only the ones I had though)
If you get Mrs. Reagles, read a lot and write a lot. She likes to say random things, she is haunted, and she likes to wast time telling stories.
If you get Mrs. Grandlich, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!! If you don't she will get you trust me. Oh and take notes.
If you Mr. Cat, he's really nice and if you try to do a good job, and pay attention in class. You'll do great.
If you get Mrs. Colque, she really nice, but if you don't do what you're told, you will pay.
If you get Mrs. Mitchell, practice, and be nice to her.
If you get Mr. Roehl, he's supper funny, but he will hound you for your work. oh, and he'll take your food.
If you get Mrs. Whelan, do your homework ahead of time, and then ask for the next project.
If you get Mrs. Silady, DO YOU'RE HOMEWORK!!!!!! She will get you if you don't.

History of Constellations
Have you looked up in the sky lately? Do you see the stars forming shapes? Those shapes are called constellations. Many empires found and named these constellations. They used stories, myths, or legends to example why the constellations are there. Constellations are part of both the Earth’s history and the universe’s history.
The Greeks are famous for their myths. In the myth “The Great Bear” Jupiter, the God of the skies, fell in love with a moral woman named Callisto. Juno, Jupiter’s wife, became jealous of Callisto after she gave birth to Jupiter’s son, Arcus. To get back at Callisto, Juno changed her into a bear. One would think that Callisto would trusted just as before because she was known to be kind and gentle. But no one believed she was still the same kind and caring person. The villagers forced her to leave her child by sending hunters with their dogs after her, while the women of the village took care of her baby. Years later Callisto came back to the village where she once lived. She soon found a hunter about to shot a bird; she soon realized the hunter was her son Arus. But when Arus saw the bear, he didn’t know it was his mother and aimed for it. Jupiter stepped in, even though it had be years since he last saw Callisto in her human form, he still loved her. To protect Callisto from her own son, he hurled her into the night sky. He also changed Arus into a small bear and then put Arus right next to his mother. But Juno was still jealous so she made Neptune, the God of the Sea, to keep the two bears from descending into the ocean like all the other stars. This is the myth the Greeks used to example to themselves why the Great Bear and the Little Bear are the only constellations to never set below the horizon.
They said that their gods made the stars move to make a shape of someone or something that the Gods thought honorable or wanted to honor. The Greeks believed the gods thought a hunter named Orion was honorable enough to be made in a constellation. In ancient Greek and in Greek mythology Orion was a great hunter who accomplished many things. It is said that he killed many beasts. But no one knows just how he died. One theory is that a Scorpios killed him. Now both are up in the night sky as constellations.
Hundreds of cultures have thought that their gods placed their heroes and myths up into the night sky. Were the myths, stories, and legends true? No one truly knows, and no one truly knows which opinion is right. Only you can choice which way you believe.

Raymond's Run
To let someone else win on purpose is usless. If you let the other person win then they never really won. It is better to give the race or sport or any other game you're playing all you've got. It's the fairest way to play, even if you win and they don't. In the story "Raymond's Run," Mr. Pearson tells "Squeaky" or Hazel Elizabeth Deborath Parker to let Gretchen win the race. Squeaky got angry at the suggestion because in her mind she is the best runner and to lose a race would make her look bad. It's one thing to have a friend or a family member tell to not do your best best. It's a whole thing to have your coach tell to.
